| Beschreibung (dt.): | Die Zukunftsregion 'TiPP' verfolgt das Ziel, die Transparenz und Rückverfolgbarkeit in einer regional etablierten Wertschöpfungskette Schwein über digitale Strategien zu optimieren. Im Zentrum der praxisnahen Erprobungen steht der bei Nutztieren gänzlich unerforschte Einsatz von Self Sovereign Identity (SSI) mit seinen Konzepten und verwendeten Technologien, z.B. DLT und Blockchain. Im Projekt wird Forschung bis auf das Einzeltier skaliert. Durch SSIs werden die Sicherheit und Qualität sowie die Transparenz und Flexibilität im Datenaustausch einer Wertschöpfungskette nachhaltig erhöht. Im Fall aufwändiger Dokumentationspflichten und Kontrollen von Ketteninformationen zum Zwecke des Verbraucher- und Tierschutzes sowie der Nachhaltigkeit und Wirtschaftlichkeit bergen DLT kombiniert mit SSIs ein enormes Automatisierungspotential in der WSK Schwein. Insgesamt trägt TiPP die Chancen der Digitalisierung über gezielten Technologie- und Wissenstransfer in die breite landwirtschaftliche Praxis und ihre ländlichen Räume. Damit wird ein mittel- bis langfristiger Beitrag zum Ausbau einer digital gestützten, nachhaltigen Landwirtschaft geleistet. Für ländliche Räume ergeben sich verbraucherpolitische, klimaeffiziente und regionalökonomische Standortvorteile durch digital agierende Wertschöpfungsketten im Agrar- und Ernährungssektor. |
| Beschreibung (engl.): | The future region 'TiPP' has the aim of optimising transparency and traceability in a regionally established value chain (VC) pig via digital strategies from farm to fork. The focus of the practical trials is the use of Self Sovereign Identity (SSI) with its concepts and technologies (DLT, blockchain), which is completely unexplored in farm animals. In the project, the research is scaled down to the detailed level of the 'individual animal'. With the help of SSIs, the security and quality as well as the transparency and flexibility in the bidirectional data exchange of a VC are sustainably increased. In case of complex documentation duties and verification of chain information for the purpose of consumer and animal protection as well as sustainability and economic efficiency, DLTs combined with SSIs hold enormous automation potential in the VC pig. For DLT and SSI testing and the later derivation of transparency indices for consumers, animal, farm and process data are collected along the entire pig VC in sub-projects that address current transparency-relevant areas such as data management, application of sensors, animal health, animal welfare, climate efficiency, sustainability and consumer behaviour. In order to reach the data level 'individual animal' on pig farms, six trial farms (3x piglet rearing and 3x fattening, once each husbandry level 2, 3 and 4) are digitally transformed using RFID-supported, compact sensor technology, based on the results of the project 'Experimentierfeld DigiSchwein'. As a whole, 'TiPP' carries the opportunities of digitalisation into the broad agricultural practice and its rural areas via a targeted technology and knowledge transfer. This contributes to the promotion of digitally supported, sustainable agriculture in the medium to long term. For rural areas, digitally supported VCs in the agricultural and food sector offer advantages in terms of consumer policy, climate efficiency and regional economy. |
