| Beschreibung (dt.): | Ziel eines Biodiversitätsmonitorings in der Landwirtschaft (kurz BM-Landwirtschaft) ist es, Daten mit einer hohen raum-zeitlichen Auflösung und wissenschaftlichen Qualität kontinuierlich bereitzustellen, um Trends abzubilden und daraus Empfehlungen für die Weiterentwicklung agrar- und umweltpolitischer Maßnahmen abzuleiten. DAUBER et al. (2016) schlagen vor, das BM-Landwirtschaft komplementär zu schon existierenden Monitoringprogrammen zu konzipieren. Um aus diesem Konzept ein tragfähiges Modell für die konkrete Umsetzung eines BM-Landwirtschaft zu entwickeln, sind wichtige vorbereitende Schritte notwendig: i) die Charakterisierung von Agrarräumen in Deutschland, ii) die Abstimmung und Festlegung von agrarraumspezifischen Leitbildern und Biodiversitätszielen sowie iii) die Prüfung von und die Einigung auf jeweils relevante Indikatorensets. Das geplante Vorhaben dient der Erreichung der Ziele der Bundesregierung im Bereich der ländlichen Entwicklung, da durch ein BM-Landwirtschaft langfristig Kenntnisse erworben werden, die eine politische Steuerung der nachhaltigen ländlichen Entwicklung ermöglichen. |
| Beschreibung (engl.): | The aim of biodiversity monitoring in agriculture (BM-Agriculture for short) is to continuously provide data with a high spatial-temporal resolution and scientific quality in order to map trends and derive recommendations for the further development of agricultural and environmental policy measures. DAUBER et al. (2016) propose to design the BM-Agriculture complementary to existing monitoring programmes. In order to develop a viable model for the concrete implementation of BM-Agriculture from this concept, important preparatory steps are necessary: i) the characterisation of agricultural areas in Germany, ii) the coordination and definition of agricultural area-specific models and biodiversity objectives, and iii) the examination of and agreement on relevant sets of indicators. The planned project serves to achieve the objectives of the Federal Government in the field of rural development, since BM-Agriculture provides long-term knowledge that enables political control of sustainable rural development. The project partners (TI-BD, TI-LR and JKI) will be mutually in charge of the work paths and the output of subtasks 1 to 3. JKI will be in charge of subtask 4 'Interactive Web GIS Application'. All project partners support each other in achieving the sub-tasks. The overall coordination of the project lies with TI-BD. In order to achieve the main objective (development of basic standards for monitoring biodiversity in agricultural landscapes), the project partners are working on the following subtasks: - Characterisation of agricultural areas in Germany (lead: JKI) - Coordination and definition of agricultural area-specific models and biodiversity objectives (lead: TI-LR) - Definition of biodiversity indicators specific to agricultural areas Agriculture (lead: TI-BD) - Synthesis subtasks 1-3 (lead: TI-BD) - Development of an interactive WEB-GIS application (lead: JKI) |
