| Beschreibung (dt.): | Mehrwegverpackungen leisten einen aktiven Beitrag zum Umweltschutz und zur Reduktion eingesetzter Ressourcen. Der Einsatz erfordert jedoch innovative Logistik- und Reinigungslösungen, um die Qualität der Produkte in der Lebensmittelverpackung weiterhin sicherstellen zu können und den Verbrauchern die Sicherheit einer hygienischen Umverpackung zu bieten. Dabei sollen Technologien und Prozesse der Digitalisierung an verschiedenen Punkten der Warenlogistik zum Einsatz kommen, wie z.B. am Point of Sale oder an den Aus- und Rückgabestationen. Das Gesamtziel des Vorhabens ist ein mit der Produktentwicklung mitlaufender, möglichst umfassender Einsatz von Mehrwegverpackungen im Lebensmitteleinzelhandel und darüber hinaus, um Einwegverpackungen zu minimieren. Das übergeordnete Ziel ist daher die Etablierung eines markenübergreifenden Pfandsystems für Lebensmittelverpackungen mit Hilfe eigens entwickelter, ressourcenschonender und nachhaltiger Pfandboxen und damit einhergehender Logistikprozesse. Die bereits mit Hilfe der Innovationsförderprogramme EXIST und Gründung innovativ entwickelten Pfandboxen sind an die Größenstandards der LEH-Logistik angepasst und sollen künftig auch über 2D-Datamatrixcodes als Informationsträger digital nachverfolgbar und mit dem Inhalt verknüpfbar sein, was letztlich eine Ergänzung der in der Pfandbox gekauften Lebensmittel bspw. um Herstellinformationen oder Informationen zum ökologischen Fußabdruck über eine angebundene App ermöglichen soll. Ziel hiervon ist es, neue Daten zur Überprüfung, Bewertung und Optimierung auf Basis eindeutig identifizierbarer Verpackungen zu ermöglichen, den kompletten Kreislauf im Produktlebenszyklus einer Mehrwegverpackung darzustellen, die Verbraucher*innen mit relevanten Zusatzinformationen zu den gekauften Produkten zu versorgen und damit mehr Transparenz entlang der Lebensmittelkette zu ermöglichen. Ergebnis soll ein markenübergreifendes Pfandsystem als umfassende Systemlösung im LEH sein. |
| Beschreibung (engl.): | Reusable packaging makes an active contribution to environmental protection and the reduction of resources used. However, their use requires innovative logistics and cleaning solutions in order to be able to continue to ensure the quality of the products in the food packaging and to offer consumers the security of hygienic outer packaging. In this context, digitization technologies and processes are to be used at various points in the logistics of goods, such as at the point of sale or at the check-out and return stations. The overall goal of the project is to use reusable packaging as extensively as possible in food retailing and beyond, in tandem with product development, in order to minimize single-use packaging. The overarching goal is therefore to establish a cross-brand deposit system for food packaging with the help of specially developed, resource-saving and sustainable deposit boxes and associated logistics processes. The deposit boxes, which have already been developed with the help of the EXIST and Gründung innovativ innovation funding programs, are adapted to the size standards of food retail logistics and in the future will also be digitally traceable and linkable to the contents via 2D data matrix codes as information carriers, which should ultimately enable the food purchased in the deposit box to be supplemented with, for example, manufacturing information or information on the ecological footprint via a connected app. The aim of this is to enable new data for checking, evaluating and optimizing on the basis of clearly identifiable packaging, to show the complete cycle in the product life cycle of reusable packaging, to provide consumers with relevant additional information on the products purchased and thus to enable greater transparency along the food chain. The result should be a cross-brand deposit system as a comprehensive system solution in the food retail sector. |
