| Beschreibung (dt.): | Das Projekt bezieht sich direkt auf das noch bis April 2014 laufende BTF-Vorhaben 2012-3 „Bioenergy and Food Security Rapid Appraisal Project (BEFS RA)“ (GCP/GLO/357/GER), das sich an das BEFS Projekt 2006-5 GCP/INT/020/GER anschloss. Das BEFS RA Projekt entwickelt und erprobt pilothaft ein Analyse-Schnellverfahren Rapid Appraisal Tool, als Orientierungshilfe für Länder, die ihren Bioenergiesektor entwickeln wollen. Das Tool soll helfen, bei der Planung Aspekte der Ernährungssicherung, der ökologischen Nachhaltigkeit und der Energiesicherheit zu berücksichtigen. Es ist eine Ergänzung und Vorstufe zu der vollen Analyse unter dem BEFS Gesamtansatz. |
| Beschreibung (engl.): | The overarching objective of this project is to mainstream food security and poverty reduction dimensions into the ongoing national and international bioenergy policy formulation processes. The project aims to accomplish this by carrying out capacity building activities in Latin America, Asia and Africa to enhance the knowledge of the BEFS RA tool to support countries in the planning of bioenergy development taking account of food security, environment sustainability and energy security. |
